The interesting thing on this coin is the obverse legend. It seems that the "II" between "P" and "COS" has been added afterwards.

Franz Diederik:
"In the tribunician years, the numeral 'I' was never used, so if numerals were added it would have been from nothing to 'II' In my opinion the spacing between the (TR)P and the C(OS) allowed for the insertion of II. So in my opinion an 'old' but perfect die made usefull in the next year.Very nice!"

Elle est superbe! J'adore la patine de sable, et je trouve qu'il est rare de d'avoir de beaux portraits comme celui-ci sur les monnaies de bronze de Tibère! Taing! Qu'est-ce qu'elle est belle! Je suis jaloux! (et pas seulement de celle-ci, mais de toutes les monnaies que tu nous a montré jusqu'ici )

first I thought that the patina of the Tiberius As is not genuine because it is from a special seller of VCoins who sometimes sells fakes and manipulated coins. but a check by a friend revealed that it is original.

Antonivs, I thank my father every day...the only problem is that collecting coins is like a drug...
